Dance Party

Another rainy day, what to do? Well, how about some dress-up and a little of mommy's makeup! Eventually we will need to work on correct color selection, but I think they did a pretty good job!

Marabelle's Birthday

Camille announced that it was Marabelle's birthday and we needed to throw her a party. I agreed to take her around town and get what we needed if she was willing to pay for part of it. It was so cute! She made a list of everything she would need; hats, streamers, table cloth, cake, noise blowers, balloons, and flowers. We went to the dollar store where she proceeded to spend six dollars and buy everything she needed. She was so proud of herself. I sprung for the ice cream. So here are some photos of our wild party! And of course the next day Avery announced that it was now her doll's birthday!

Avery's Preschool Concert

Well, Avery had her first Co-op Preschool concert. They sang a few adorable songs and then did a march around the auditorium. Camille was so cute to watch as she enjoyed seeing her sister perform. Avery wasn't shy at all about going onto the big stage and performing in front of an audience.

Christmas 2008

Merry Christmas from the Browns! We spent Christmas Eve over at Nana and Papa's house. Camille was the official Bingo caller, she did a fantastic job! There were over twenty people and she wasn't shy at all. Thank you to Grandmom for the beautiful Christmas dresses, the girls were a big hit. We all slept in until 8 o'clock this morning and then had a blast. It is so much fun to watch their expressions as they open presents. The girls actually took the time to enjoy each gift they opened and even took turns so they could watch each other open, I was so proud. We are heading back over to Nana and Papa's in a few minutes to open some more gifts and have brunch. Merry Christmas to all of you, we love you very much and miss you tons!

Snow Day!

Well, it snows one day a year in Redding and today was it! We had just enough for a few snowmen and a massive amount of wet clothes. The girls were super excited! Avery decided to make a snow angel and accidentally did it on a pile of dog poo, so that ended our morning of fun. We all came in for some breakfast and hot cocoa. Merry Christmas to all!

Sacramento Trip

We surprised the girls and went down to Sacramento Saturday night for an overnight treat. We stayed at the Embassy Suites in old Sacramento and went to the build a bear shop to make new friends. The girls found it extremely funny when we ate dinner at Joe's Crab Shack that mommy and daddy had to wear bibs to eat their dinner. Camille was caught between cracking up and being totally embarrassed!

On Sunday we got up and went to Fairy Tale Town then spent the afternoon back in old Sacramento where we had lunch and rode in a horse drawn carriage.

It was nice to get out of town for the night, it made coming home a treat!

Colonial Day

Well, Camille's school held "Colonial Day" on Friday and the entire school dressed up and participated in colonial time activities. We pressed apples, made butter, held mock town meetings and made teepees. It was a blast. Camille is quickly making new friends in her new school! With a mom willing to put on that kind of outfit I am surprised she isn't totally embarrassed!
